Join the Denver Innocence Project at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema (7301 S Santa Fe Dr, Littleton, CO 80120) on Monday, September 12 at 8:45pm for a special screening of Southwest of Salem: The Story of the San Antonio Four.

Southwest of Salem: The Story of the San Antonio Four is about four Texas women convicted of sexually abusing two pre-teen girls in 1994 during the height of the Satanic Panic. The film makes the case that the women, who maintain their innocence to this day, were ultimately convicted for being lesbians at a time when people “believed that ritualistic abuse was infecting their neighborhoods, and that gay men and women under Lucifer’s control were the most likely culprits.”

Tickets are only $5 and may be purchased through the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema's website.
